What these settings may change
Adding loft may raise launch and trajectory. Removing loft may lower them. A more upright lie may move expected start direction toward the draw side, while a flatter lie may move it toward the fade side.
Those are fitting expectations, not guarantees. Strike location, delivered face angle, club path, dynamic loft, and the golfer still determine the shot. A hosel setting cannot “fix” a slice or hook.
