Measured change versus expected effect
A chart can state that a position adds 1° of loft. Higher launch is an expected effect—not a guaranteed result. The golfer’s delivery still controls the shot.
Loft
More effective loft generally supports higher launch and can add spin. Less effective loft generally supports lower launch and can reduce spin. Strike and dynamic loft change the result.
Lie and start direction
A more upright lie can move expected start direction toward the draw side; a flatter lie can move it toward the fade side. Handedness changes how that looks relative to the target.
Face angle
Some sleeves alter how open or closed the club appears at address as loft changes. This site reports face-angle numbers only when the manufacturer publishes them.
Use small, repeatable tests
Record the current position, change one variable, tighten with the manufacturer’s wrench, and compare a group of shots under similar conditions.
